HF Spot welder, pass...I have completed a couple of hundred welds with it, had to replace the tips, and HF does not supply replacements, and commercial replacements have a different thread, so had to drill and tap for the commercial threads.... HF 12" sliding compound saw, pass, have a few hours on it so far....1/2" hammer drill, pass

Pass- 1/2 inch electric impact wrench by Chicago Electric. $34.99
Pass- 1/2 inch metric socket sets

Impact wrench paid for itself multiple times already. Socket sets strong, no breaks.

FAIL!!!
HF small sledgehammer.

I was pounding a wood block on my S3 cat back to get it off for transmission removal and this happened. Good thing I was off to the side and hammering parallel to the ground. It flew harmlessly off the car port into the dirt. Whew!

I realize this can happen to hammers from all makes, but I will not be purchasing any more hammers from HF nevertheless.
