Great "road side repair" glad to see you made it to home base at Motorsport.
Could have been a real bad day for you.
I just replaced my '85 fuel pump/filter for this very reason, after 24 years it was time.
As a side note be careful with the metal fuel lines as they can bend easily when removing the old pump. If they do not line up properly to the new pump "adjust" them ever so slightly so they do align properly. This is a cause for leaks as others have experienced.
Could have been a real bad day for you.

Thanks everyone!
I had a setup to actually use a friends condo in Cedar and get parts sent, but this was much better!
Although the system is in working order now, I am still absolutely replacing the pump and getting a full check up there. With the new fuel lines, injectors and regulator and the filter, the pump is the only old peice now anyway
