Nice writeup , the only thing i would add is that the turn signal switch should be checked for the proper depth , so the horn contact isnt smashed to the new hub, this will wear it out or tear the horn contact ring off.
To do this remove the trim strip ( 2 phillips screws) and the 2 10mm bolts and 1 phillips screw that holds the column trim under the pod. once this piece is removed then you can see where the new hub will ride on the shaft and where it will contact the horn strip on the TS switch.
To adjust the TS switch loosen the 8mm bolt thats in the clamp and slide the TS switch as necessary.
The horn ring does not have to be smashed flat, a light touch is all it needs , add some grease to the parts so they will last longer.
Refit the trim once the TS switch is tight

Adjusting the turn signal switch is easy to do, thanks! Loosen the 8mm bolt as shown below and slide the turn signal toward or away from the driver, then tighten such that the horn still honks and the blinkers still cancel after you make a turn, but that not too much pressure from the hub adapter/steering wheel is left on the brass-colored quarter-circle horn contact ring.

Im not sure I have the horn grounding plate on properly - my mono hub came with no installation instructions. I dont see a picture where you installed it. Im thinking it goes between the hub and the steering wheel as it has six holes and a tab but it looks like the tab would get in the way when you try to install the horn.

The horn ring plate is part of the 928, not the momo hub.
The momo hub simply rubs against the horn ring plate. Friction. They are not attached, just touching. When you slip the momo hub tab into its 9 o'clock slot, the momo hub should be barely touching your horn ring plate by default.

LOL! Yes, it would. You have to bend the tab as shown in these pics (with added detail that I left out, as you pointed out, of the earlier series of posts):

I got a simple question: I wanna fit my shark with a cool colour-matching steering-wheel. Another guy with a S2 got the same idea, but it seems, there have been some issues. Some guys said, the splines have been too deep and don't fit. Now we have in UK a discussion, which exact Momo hub fits which MY. (Or what else we can use for upgrades).
So, if anyone by experience could post the correct supplier-numbers for the different MY I'd be very thankful...

Don't overthink things. These parts are cheap and easy to install (ala this pictorial thread!). Just go swap out your steering wheel.
