Thanks, Blitz.
I wish the interior was Linen 923 color so it requires less maintenance. The interior color in my car is Pearl White. Even the cargo cover is a huge piece of leather. It has a pearly sheen which is quite funky. I will be restoring all the faded/dirty areas at some point.

I am posting my car for an example, I know its not white but it is a lite color

As for the car being fat, if you parked the 928 next to a Panamera, you would in fact notice it actually leaner than the Panamera
Yup, you did it right with open 5 spokes with your light colored car. I actually much prefer the pre-1987 style which is fat and gorgeous. The 1987 up cars look more modern BUT with the protruding and bulky front and rear bumpers, the original lines were just spoiled. The rear particularly hangs out too far so it looks heavy and redundant. The old style's rear is rounded and gave it a more atheletic look. It was stocky like a 100 meter sprinter. The new style rear can be likened by Jennifer Lopez's behind at age 70. The 1986.5 was ALMOST perfect for me but I really wanted the true S4 engine. So this 1987 came along with the exceptionally kept interior which sealed the deal.
I am sorry, but the Panamera is just not my cup of tea. It looks grossly inflated and is practically a lowered and face-lifted Cayenne which I never liked anyway.
I actually don't even like the name Panamera which is clunky and hard to pronounced.

Pearl White, wow. You have something real special there. The interior was obviously a special order, that costs some big bucks when it was new.
Do you have the window sticker?

Part of what made me choose the NSX and made the NSX such awesome car is the 928 clone interior. I have to say that the 928 interior is the most beautiful original automotive interior ever designed and it came out in the 70's. It is gorgeous, elegant, luxurious, and functional. It's Achille's, however, is the crappy material that pretty much disintegrates. Some might argue those cars with the worn out interiors were neglected but it is not entirely true. I have looked at many garaged and well kept 928s with minty outside but most are with warped interior pieces. There are really no excuses for the peeling and fading intake which, when new, gave the 928 the signature beautiful and mighty image. I lusted after the 928 since being a teenager. Since after finishing school, everytime I wanted to buy a 928 to fill that void, I get disappointed by the interior condition. I have since owned 4 911 Carreras, and 4 NSXs. Not until recently that I finally found the 928 that has an intact interior hence the sale.
The "NSX" font is actually the classic "Porsche" font.

What was what between what front wheels? If you are talking about the bottom of the NSX, you might mean the battery tray.

I guess that's what it must be - I know the NSX is MR, but I saw the shiny bit on the bottom of the model between the front wheels and it confused me.

Steve you have some nice rides there. The 928 has been my alltime car since I was a teenager too, close behind that was the NSX. Did I see 2 NSX's in your garage?

Thanks. Yes, there are 2 NSXs. The black one is my daily driver along with the 911(not pictured). Honda had the marvelous 928's interior to imitate and I think they exceeded the Porsche's. They should, after 13 years of looking over the 928's and worked out the kinks. I think all 928 owners should at least drive the NSX once to experience the familiar and "improved" 928 interior. Everything is where it should be. Although the engine is anemic at today's standard, the NSX is truly a marvelous car off and on the tracks.

I too have had several NSX - 3 to be exact. One 993, four 951/968 and a some other junk. But I keep coming back to wanting to scratch the 928 itch. Not sure if I'll ever pull the trigger but every so often I go back looking at the market.

So how do you like it? Hopefully it isn't one of those dissapointing stories about "never a good thing to meet your hero" ;-)

This time I would dump an 07 M Coupe. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/291976
