Smile Fuse Panel Refresh- ID relays?

I pulled and cleaned all my fuse and relay connections, and upon reinstallation, have some relays that are aftermarket, without the same part number as indicated a needed on 928 specialist Fuse and Relay chart. So, in trying to determine what is an adequate replacement, and what I need to order to insure the proper relays are in place.

First, the relays left over that I'm unsure where they go.

Kracker AG 07.1200.70 12v 40a I don't know where this one goes as it's not a traditional number even close.

92861513701 this may have been in thefoglight position?

928.615.203.00. this may have been in the headlamp washers or interio lamp slots.

I also have a Shier electronic 20.0900.10 719 097. I thin thispotentially goes in the indicator/turn flasher ( it says blinkgerber)

also, I found a 928 618 107 02 inthemorning combination headlamp spot. is this ok? the relay chart calls for a 928.618.107.04.

Also, I ordered some 53 relays from 928 specialists and got a wehrle 20 240 073. the relay drawing matches the 53, but I was perplexed at the substitute.

I found a 92861811300 is the suplementary cleaner spot, when a 928.618.113.01 is called for. Is this an ok sub?

What does the Fuse testor suplement? is it a 53 or should I leave it sitting in an unused relay spot to act as a backup?

Thanks in advance for the responses from you eletrical gurus!

Wether they are correct or not depends on the year of your car??

The fuse tester relay can substitute for any '53 type - location doesn't matter Porsche even moved it around by model year.

I'm sure the Wehrle relays from 928GT are fine subsitutes - Wehrle was an OEM supplier to Porsche for some things.

The flasher (yes it is) is not a stock type but if it works leave it alone... can't do any harm

928 618 107 02 is a correct headlight relay for a '80- '86 car 928 618 107 04 is for a later car...

928 615 137 01 is the foglight for '83-'86

others no idea - if they have a diagram does it look like the '53 type?

You hit it, I downloaded the wrong year. It's an 86 928S.

Thanks for the insight on the others.

Actually, I didn't. I had a printout from 2002 that came in my car with other documentation. Unusual, though, it differs from the current description on 928 specialsts.

So, it looks like it's now narrowed to three questions.

The "intensive washers" calls for a 92861811301. I have a 92861811300. Is this substitutable?

My kickdown relay is a 92861810900, I have the 92861810901, for the later VIN in the model year. Are these substantially different?

it also lists an interior light delay for vin numbers much higher than mine. do I leave this empty, or get a relay for spot XXI?

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate everyones insight.

The 928 website lists all MYs fuse and relay panels.

I can't say want the differences are between part numbers that differ only by the last digit..........probably not much of anything.

You should have a delay relay in XXI - check for the right type.

When the final 2 digits of a part number are different it can indicate L/R variants or
superseeded parts - usually (but not always) superseeded parts are generally equivalent. For these relays I'd expect it would not be an issue (particularly since they werer in there and presumably working before).

Got it, I'll have to order the relay for XXI, got nothing close. None of my interior lights seem to have been working before, so I'm guessing this is part of the reason? Another project for the future...

Thanks Alan and the Scotsman. Heading to reinstall the fusepanel right now.
