Dan, Is that your car? I really do like that color, but it surely looks as if the rear springs have sprung or it is adjusted way down low in the rear. My white '88 is kinda like that and needs shocks so I will be putting new springs on it when that comes around.
BTW, I enjoyed meeting you at the OCIC and hope you can make it in for the Third Coast event in November. Put it on your calendar,

I've ridden in that car, it is beautiful
I know Bill Ball 928 technician Privateer is an excellent expert in these cars and he owns a great one himself. Though not a professional, I know he works on cars for fellow Rennlisters from time to time. Search will find him. I think he lives in the East Bay and is just a great person.
A. Bauer in Oakland is a good family owned and 928 expereinced shop.

Great looking car...not so much the steering wheel cover. I have a spare airbag wheel for sale currently and you could put that one in (since it is gray) and you could to send your BLACK wheel off for recovering. There are some GREAT guys out there doing interior work. Paul Champagne has done BOTH of my GTS steering wheels and they look AWESOME!
I've had worse wheels, like alcantara that seems to come apart in your hand.

I looked at an 89 that had work done at that shop. It was a car that got away when I didn't act fast enough....an 89, 5-sp, 1st owner was Lars Ullrich (from Metallica), and the 2nd owner had the service done at A. Bauer.
+1...very nice color on your S4. I would've preferred something other than black, but not much you can do with used cars.
