Dan, Is that your car? I really do like that color, but it surely looks as if the rear springs have sprung or it is adjusted way down low in the rear. My white '88 is kinda like that and needs shocks so I will be putting new springs on it when that comes around.
BTW, I enjoyed meeting you at the OCIC and hope you can make it in for the Third Coast event in November. Put it on your calendar,

Hi John, yes that is my car. It looks low because it was pulling into the driveway when the pic was taken. It is on an angle with the pass front wheel several inches higher than the other corners. Car has new bilsteins with stock springs. Ride height is normal.

Third Coast in November - hmmmm not sure I can make that one but you never know.

A. Bauer in Oakland is a good family owned and 928 expereinced shop.

Actually, I don't mind the thick steering wheel. It has a nice, grippy, but not too soft feel to it. Seems to be well done too.

I've had worse wheels, like alcantara that seems to come apart in your hand.

Thx...yes, I've heard of A. Bauer and they're on the top of my list...probably the closest to me too.

I looked at an 89 that had work done at that shop. It was a car that got away when I didn't act fast enough....an 89, 5-sp, 1st owner was Lars Ullrich (from Metallica), and the 2nd owner had the service done at A. Bauer.

+1...very nice color on your S4. I would've preferred something other than black, but not much you can do with used cars.
