Which cable can I disconnect for Cruise Control
My crusie control does not work and I am not worried about fixing it. When running 20 or over the speed limit with the V 1 I sure don't want to be in cruise. If I disconnect it will it liven up the throttle?

the cruise cable is the one that goes into the driver side fender its pretty easy to figure out. It may have a small pin in the ball end that must be removed also it may be rusted and that means that the little snap spring wire inside tha ball end may not let it be able to removed so spray the ball end with some pb blaster.
If you cant get the ball end off then you can remove the other end from the tempostat this one is easier to disconnect but the fender liner needs to be removed it is just under the vacuum storage *****, your car has the later CC actuator

Hey Cliff,
How's it going?
With that Murf SC on there I can't believe there's a problem with throttle response. Is there maybe something else going on in there?
Maybe loose throttle cable or the throttle rod needs adjustment or something? I know your car is an auto, but from what I've seen of the SC cars they are ALL monsters when you mash it. Maybe you need to free up the exhaust a bit for it to breathe better? Just a thought.
