The black wheels definitely go best with a black car, and the tinted windows seal the deal. Very cool.

Thank you RKD. This is making the decision much easier.

I agree, the silver lips really make the difference. Now the hard part, I think Chaad ran into this when he got his wheels powder coated ... something like you can only do one color. I may have to get them powder coated and just paint the lip silver. Usually the spokes get the most stone damage so that would work.

Big Dave, black wheels on your black car ... no brainer, just do it.

First, who says you have to powder coat wheels? Most of the wheel repair shops around OKC paint them and have LOTS of wild paint options including color changing and crinkle looking stuff. Nice paint and clear coat is easy to maintain and easy to have repaired when/if you do get them scratched up.

I like either the stock silver or the red with polished lip. To me, everything else looks like you got some nice wheels from another car.

I have the silver Cup 1's as well. The black has a nice aggressive look to it.

Now I'm going to have to paint mine orange... oh well. Someone has to be a trend setter.

Here's another shot of my car with the black rims from the Tail of the Dragon.

Dang. That does look awesome. Just when I had settled on painting them silver!

Hmm, paint the wheels black, get my windows tinted too. I could be the PacNW darth vader 928. Hmm...
