Darren - you should clean/replace the fuses - BUT this isn't causing your fan running issues - its a second issue to pay attention to.

The fans running all the time (for whatever reason) may have made this worse - but didn't originally cause it and of course the fans should be able to run all the time without issue when everything is working to spec.

Thanks to this thread I think I just might have resolved the problem with my cooling fans running all the time. It seems the intake temp sensor is bad. With the ignition on and car cold (I mean really cold) the fans would come on slow speed. When I disconnect the intake temp sensor they stop.

Is my logic correct?

I have looked at 928 international and Pelican parts but am not sure I can find the right part . I'll keep searching but if anyone knows the part name and a good source I would appreciate it.

thanks for the advice so far.

FWIW, I have changed the bottom radiator temp sensor with minimal loss of coolant a couple of times. With everything cold, and the caps all in place, the sensor hole is the only place air can enter, so if you have the new sensor all ready with a washer fitted, and the old sensor loosened, it can be done quickly through the front grille(as long as your hands and arms arent too big!), and probably not even need a coolant top up.
