Unusual head light conversion from Poland (Fiat Projector Lights)

lol funny thing about 928's....the headlights for some reason are the 1 thing I can't stand about them! I wish I could figure out a nice looking Porsche 928 headlight conversion, I would seriously consider getting one when I sell my old Porsche 912.
And don't diss on the 300ZX, that body kit is yet another awful attempt to change how the car looked, but there are plenty of very clean, and very fast 300ZX's out there =P It is one of my favorite cars

There were several design features that were on the original 'required' list, and the pop-up headlights were high on that list.
There are/were also some legal requirements in many countries including the US that would have raised the fenders up if the pop-up lights weren't used. The height requirement of min 24" center of lamp to the ground is still current. Mounting projectors at or just above bumper height won't make it.
Asmuch as I might enjoy the challenge of fitting a pair of projectors in an eyebrow nacelle fitted to the existing opening, or coming up with a way to have pop-up projectors in a less frog-eyed housing, it would likely spoil the classic lines when retracted, in trade for a different lights-up look at night. Better, different, subjective at best.

Gawd; that looks awful. The 928 is a classic design, 32 years later and it still looks contemporary. If you want a 300Z, go buy one and leave the shark alone.

Three Wheelin'
Pop up headlights are one of my favorite features of the 928. I often drive with the lights up in the day time, just because I love looking at those lovely orbs. The conversion looks nice, but I would never do it to my 928. To each his own. The money is better spent on GTS mirrors and a killer set of wheels. IMHO, Those two steps really modernize these cars alot.

You must be a boob guy. Thats what my wife said the reason I bought mine was "because when the lights are up they look like a nice set of *****"
