I never heard of a Noid Light before...picked one up today and I'm still looking for someone in this town that has a IR thermometer. I'll keep you posted...

Zeus, It seems to idle fine. A little stumble at low RPMs. Power is pretty good, it gets to triple digits pretty quick I only found the bad injector because I was screwing around with a cheap stethoscope I bought. All the other injectors have a loud click to them and #6 is pretty quiet. I'll dig into it more this weekend.

I bought a full set of them from Autozone for I believe 20.00. Also I have had very good luck with Techron. I don't know about you guys but I swear this ethanol gas mix is crap

Well I picked up the Noid light and it looks like the circuit is OK,
I pillued the plug and it looks like it has never fired just some black carbon deposits on the end. It didn't look wet and the deposits wiped off easily. At this point I think it's time for a new injector. Any other suggestions?

You can have bad plugs. What about testing for spark?

Pull a couple other plugs and compare.

Doing it all WYAIT does get expensive, but it needs what it needs and replacing everything removes a lot of guess work about what is or isn't working well. You trade some $$$ for time, otherwise every time something isn't right you have to sort through ten things looking for which part is bad now.

I agree.
Running down to Dallas and back, I now have pinging on hard acceleration in fifth gear. I know it could be caused by many other things, but ethanol is the root of all automotive evil. Corn is for cows/pigs not cars.
Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread.
