under your fuse panel, to the left. Dig in there left and under. A round plug sort of like a little finger thickness.

to remove the O2 sensor wires remove the carpet then the screwed down portion of the CE panel lower board.
Once the board is out of the way then you trace the wire it goes to the forward portion of the insulation( there are 2 pieces of rubberized insulation, one on the TT hump and one closer to the firewall).
Peel back the insulation and with a wide blade screwdriver push the rubber grommet out of the chassis then feed the wire out so that both if you have 2 connectors wont catch when you lower the header pipes

what do you mean?? what are you doing with the cats? what cats are talking about?
If your talking about removing the rear section of the exhaust its rather easy simply loosen the header pipes/cats clamps spray some PB blaster on the connections.
then wiggle and pull the rear section back, you may have an easier time if you first disconnect the rear muffler clamps to the mid pipes so you dont damage the rear bumper cover. then wiggle the mids out.
I used some aluminized glas wrap ( used for slipping over wires and hoses that run near hot surfaces)found at the speed shop instead of the raw glass wrap and add some RTV RED hi heat to the insides of the new X pipe it sealed up solid using the 2.25 in strap clamps

pb blasted it and it wont come close to budging. I took the whole system off the car and it wont budge, as in needs an air hammer kind of stubborn. Oh well, I put the x-pipe on anyways and it almost hits the heat shield I may just have a system fabbed up, but for the mean time its open X pipe...

hmmmm.... to clear up some confusion just in case:

original H pipe connects to manifolds and then has cats welded on them which slip in the rear exhaust and have a clamp over this 'slip over' aspect. I beleive this is a 13mm bolt with a 13mm nut on it.

The x pipe will then slip OVER the exhaust (it is now larger so goes over now) and the new supplied clamps are used the old clamps go in the trash.

So if all of that sounds right to you:
get that clamp off, bolt may be rusted, doesn't matter you don't need this peice cut if you have to.
the exhaust will be on TOP of the old H pipe. Since it slips over and clamps on you will see there are 3 slits in the exhaust used to provide better clamping. Take a screwdriver and pry a bit on those 'tabs' to lift them off the H pipe, the peices will then seperate.

If some of this is not right, please clarify with your car model as there may be some year differences

PB blaster or Kroil in the slits on the pipes, then wiggle wiggle until it's loose. Side-to-side, up-and-down. I had to drop the whole system too to get them loose. The best way to get them off is to keep them as straight as possible, wiggle-pull, wiggle-pull.

I have the whole system off and it is soaking in pb blaster as we speak, I didn't have any more time to mess with it so Ill try to pry them apart again later. My x-pipe ends where they would slip over the stock cat back are right up against the heat shield almost, is this normal? I may have something made and just not drive the car for a while rather than put the stock crap back on... Thanks for the help so far!

I can attest to this as I saw Sean "pull off" this exact method this past Saturday.

There should have been installation instructions included with your crossover, they would be sandwiched in between the clamps and lay out the rotational movement to break loose the cats from the cat back. If they are too enviormentally welded together it may take some work. The instructions also should have told you where the O2 sensor connection is. (hope I didn't leave them out...)

They will be close to the heat shield, it can be tweaked easily for clearance if need be.

I let the pb blaster sit over night and with great force and effort with the exhaust out from under the car I managed it off.

sweet, make sure to anti-seize all your new parts and such and lube the exhaust upon reinstallation.
The new sound is pretty low and sweet!
