Default Change MAF on my 928 85 big improvment

I was having a power loss in low rpm, I search the forum and found that this could be the MAF, since my car at the moment that I got it have the oem cat, It could be it, I got a used one, put it yesterday and the car it is more quicker at low rpm, thanks. Now I am thinking in cpu chips and I will send my other MAF to JDS. thanks for all the info, great forum.

Great to have traced performance issues to your MAF. If the car is running as it should, no vacuum leaks, timming set properly, steady idle etc. Then I would go for upgrading the chips.
Porken has done some great work with improving the LH/EZK chips. His most recent "improvement" is the LH2r/55. You will also replace the fuel presure regulator (FPR) to a '87 55 psi FPR. He has a list of vendors on his web site www.liftbars.com who can supply the FPR.
His setup is by far better than anything on the market. I replaced a original set of AA chips and they were not even close to providing the performance that his chips will provide.

could you try and describe what “low power” meant to you? What did the car feel like and what were you doing?

Start a new thread. That user hasn't been here since 2017.
