Default LH pin question

Pin 21 on th LH connector "LH relay trigger delayed of" This comes out of the LH harness and goes to connector X terminal 5 on the CE panel.

First question does this leave power on for the LH after the key is turned off to allow the LH to do a burn off cycle with the MAF?

Second question if the above is correct where does the initial trigger for the LH relay come from?

thanks

Sam

The LH turns on the LH relay, and fuel pump relay when it gets a good RPM signal (over 400?) from the EZF.

I think the LH relay off may be always delayed by ~4 seconds, but the MAF burnoff only happens if a couple of criterea have been met. I'm not sure how much of the LH board is powered by the LH relay when the EZF relay input turns off.

(LH2.2/EZF pinouts)

(LH2.2 rev 3 board)

Where does the LH get the power to fire the LH relay?

Thanks

Power to the LH relay comes, unfused, from the battery.

When you turn on the ignition, power to the LH comes from the EZF relay to pin 18, then the LH turns on the LH relay by grounding pin 21, and power then comes from the LH relay to pin 9. (I'm not really sure of the timing sequence.)

As long as pin 21 is at ground, the LH relay powers the LH.
