Also, that S4 rear bumper is probably worth more than what you'd pay for the car (since theyre NLA and that one looks in decent shape)

It appears to be an OB with the AIR S4 upgrade front bumper (OB fenders). They were able to add the S4 rear bumper once they got the GTS quarters on.

It kinda looks similar to that orange Chevy hybrid (raised hood, flared fenders, GTS quarters) although incomplete. The wing looks like an amateur-ish copy of the AIR 'S5' wing.

I'd hazard a guess it was someone's 'dream racer'... or is that 'dream ricer'. No offense RicerSchnittzle

OK I confess I moved some boxes , dog crates , misc in MY garage and found this ! My Son in law's 1980 racer project which since they moved to Texas and I lost the shop space I had been renting has been "forgotten" in my garage for YEARS ! The hood is a carbon fiber stock hood but with 4 inches added to it with the rear raised. The fiberglass AIR fenders sit out two inches. The AIR front bumper is 4 inches wider. The rear GTS 1/4 s are glass and have been pushed out wider. Has a full cage. Complete S-4 brakes front suspension. The rear spoiler was for a 90s Mustang but raised a few inches (He wanted a big wing ) The engine as DR pointed out is a stock 1980, at one time Supercharger Andy was going to help with a little boost.

This begs the question... James, what are your intentions with this here piece of... ummm... "experimental automotive design"?

Jim,

On a serious note, ditch the wing and at a minimum shoe horn a Euro S engine in there and that car could be lots of FUN!..

Just PLEASE don't paint it BROWN :-)

But but all the cool guys in the POC have to have big wing things they just have too....Remember my son in law has a TR and a Miami vice "Daytona" .....he needs the wing ! Raising the hood moving out the fenders was so the same $50 each 18x10 rims would fit on all 4 corners plus take some of the wind off the windshield .
