Default Crank scraper, paid in april, not got parts

Hi there everybody,

Has anyone managed to get a crank scraper recently from www.crank-scrapers.com?

I paid up around $800 in April, and despite repeated emails back and forth, have received nothing. Now my emails are going unanswered and I'm getting worried.

They said it would take 2 weeks!

Are these guys still going or should I be taking it up with PayPal...

Cheers,

Joel

Colin's thread from 1/03/09...".Kevin Johnson and crank scrapers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am just wondering if anyone else has had any dealings with Kevin Johnson and his crank scrapers.

I recall a few people saying that they were the best out there, and worth the money.

So I exchanged alot of emails discussing what I was after with him.
We then agreed on it and he sent me a paypal invoice, which I paid instantly marked August 30th 2008.
I have tried to email him a couple times but get absolutely ZERO responce.

So if anyone else has delt with him, could you PM me a phone number as this is unacceptable now as the agreed delivery was 4-6 weeks.

I got mine. Ordered via Carl, who took care of the emailing back and forth part. Stated delivery time was four weeks, took about three months. 928MS earned every penny what they made as the distribution channel.

Oh man!,Not again! I just don't understand how people manage to stay in business when they treat paying customers this way.Two weeks turns to 4 weeks, then 4 months. In my business you give a price and a delivery date! You stand by them and if some problem arises you call.I think it's called "courtesy"If not we pay penalties,in some cases $1,000 to $5,000 per day that it's late.
Do what you say and say what you do and stick to it dammitt!

Kevin is a good guy but a poor planner. You'll get your stuff...eventually. And you'll like it.

Also still waiting. Ordered through Carl back in early March. This is normal, sadly.

I had one for sale on here for a long time, no interest in it at all, and the price was right $500 bucks.

Colin,

Thank you for your business.

I made you a custom setup for your dry sump. It involved redesigning a number of parts and bringing them up to the generation that I am currently making. The redesign and recoding the cutting files consumed several hours of my time. It consumed the same amount of time as to make the parts and no extra charge was made to you, in fact $200 was taken off the price of the kit.

You placed your order at the end of August -- beginning of September. Your order was shipped on Jan 5, 2009. I count four months.

On Jan 5, 2009, Samantha sent you the following email:

Hi Colin,

I have attached your installation instructions for you so you can get an idea.

Let me apologize for you not hearing from us...this is totally my fault, I have not been able to keep up with the 700+ emails in the inbox.

Your order is shipping today via USPS Priority Mail and the declaration number is: CP906745585US

Again Colin, I am very sorry for any frustation we have put you through.

Sammi

I recall in your earlier rant that you said that you did not receive any instructions.

In this complaint you state "not so much as a sorry either."

Samantha was taking medicine that was decreasing her cognitive abilities. We did not realize this because it was subtle but increased over time. She has stopped taking that medicine, thank goodness, as it was also causing muscle wasting.

I am certainly deserving of many complaints and I acknowledge that I am slow in manufacturing. Porsche is quick at manufacturing. They did not solve the technical issues in their engine for over twentyfive years. Take your pic.
