Ok, I guess I'm a coward too.

Funny, the US Army and Marine corps never saw it that way.

I thought this thread was to find the 'missing, lost or stolen' parts.
So. Anyone seen them?

The last thing this thread is about is actually finding the parts. Dirty laundry threads are always about embarrassing someone enough to make them do something they are reluctant to do otherwise. The target has to be the SLC crew, since they are the only ones involved that I think might have some concern over public appearance.

I adjusted the post for clarification. I know who you are refering to but others may not.

Welcome back Dozman. What haven't you seen? The missing GT heads? Are you involved in this head mystery?

I've been gone 3 years or so.......and I haven't missed a thing.

HOLY FRIGGIN' COW! Time passes, but the plots stay the same. There is one constant; the epicenter of every debacle hasn't shifted an inch from just outside of Detroit in 3 years.

Reading this whole debacle in one sitting was the best part of my day. Thanks for the link, Big Dave! I'll get you those tail light assemblies, I promise. Somebody is gonna find Jimmy Hoffa cradling those things sooner or later.

-desperately seeking a 928 to buy somewhere near Denver, and a trip back to see my 928 cronies in Royal Oak.

Aryan,

Popeye does not need to build any credability here what so ever. He stated facts pure and simple and stated his credentials. If thats not enough for you oh well. But I bet it carries enough weight in an actual court room.

So Jack has been run off of the 928 forum by people who don't know any better. He was a great asset to the community and his skill and knowledge will be missed.
Really, ran off by members? Don't think so. What members and how did they run him off?

Dave, no one ran Jack riffle off. Jack knows he was not telling the truth, and knew the legal ramifications of his actions. I think Jack took his toys and went to play somewhere else.

Don't see any police reports, don't see any court papers. To the rest of your statement in that post...

If I remember right, we helped you avoid the same deal Brendan. Oh, that's right, it was a clerical error that he didn't give you the title back...
I passed on buying Brendan's 928, it was not in the condition in his description. Brendan forgot his own title in my car. Is there any truth in your posts Dave? How did you help Brendan out, did you leave the title in my car Dave after I passed on buying it?

Uhhhhh no, not really. My question was and still is, do YOU still have the parts, or do you know where they are? Simple enough.

Your "plainly stated" comment answers nothing and, to me, insinuates you are shielding information, especially when in your OP you state

Quote:
The heads sat on our shelf for over a couple of years

As far as the other parts, he got everything. We did offer him the crate, it was still here but he declined.
As far as Brendan's lost heads, that was done by the shipper and had nothing to do with us. The shipper in this case verified that the heads were recieved.
Beats me, So he got all his parts, you went to the trouble of reboxing all the parts I sent from Australia did you. The guy delivering must have made a lot of trips with all those boxes? Or was it just one box with the delivery driver named Hercules? Or was it you didn't send all the other parts? Why not use the crate much easier, No? This doesn't seem to fit when the talk of the buyer being photographed filmed etc, because if that was the case it would have most likely read, he took possession of all the boxes.

Again it puzzles me that you say he got all his parts but you keep referring to the parts as just heads. The crate had a lot more than just heads in there, otherwise it wouldn't have been the size I built it! Dave, the buyer told me that he did want the crate (as he paid for it) and that you never offered it to him. Given you are in the Ebay business of selling parts it surprises me that you throw it out, why not use it to ship your parts? Or is that what you did?

By Ketchmi
we do that mod to almost every set of heads we work on.
Why put the heads on a shelf? So they could get mixed up? You say that you preform the cooling mod to the heads you work on. Well not the ones you supplied to my buyer, I certainly didn't supply him any carbon in the exhaust ports either and you should well know that.
