Fire up the BBQ! Preliminary phone call went well and he seems like a nice enough guy.We discussed some airport options and will work out the details over the weekend so he may be arriving in Fla. as soon as Tuesday or so.
I bought my wifes 928 in Cinncinatti 3 or 4 years ago and it is an 85 black on black auto and we love it,so hopefully this will turn out to be just as nice a car.
I think I am truly addicted.

You are soooo right. I am happy I will get the chance to go for a drive and spend a little more time in a car that feels so right. I have had soooo many cars and this one rides so smooth and is just a pleasure to drive. Its road manners are so well balanced its hard to believe its an 85. I am loosing a little parting with this car but I take comfort in knowing that someone else is going to own it that will love it as much as I do. The fact that it will be 700 miles away and I dont stand a chance of it pulling up next to me in my old truck (that I love as well) is a real plus as well. When I hand the key over I dont want to see it again. hard to get closer if everytime you turn around you see you old car... Thanks again ed Ill be seeing you soon. I cant promise road trip pics. I plan on leaving sunday @ 4pm so I mill new york early rush hour. So most of the trip will be dark. I will have the camera and I will get ed to strike us a pose so I can post it up.

Sorry for the late update,I get to the shop at 5:30am,Seans there waiting,seams like he made good time and was there at 2:30 am or so and was greeted by the security wench.Anyway,car looks good and is on the lift now getting the go over.Sean didn't want a shower or a meal so I threw him another $100 and drove him to the airport.Will post pics soon!

I am good, picking up some sidework and poss a car for doing the work. I will be here in clearwater for a few days then space coast then home. I dont have access to a computer all the time so I thought I would jump on and say hi and all is well. Ed was super nice and .... and.... The hatch is no place to sleep..... Ed you are def one of the nicest guys I have met and I hope you get as many years as you want out of your new car. It had no issues and didnt use hardly any gas on the trip. 1 and a half tanks and it was there. I will get back with you all in about a week or so when I am home and a little tanner. Thanks again Ed and your wife. GREAT PEOPLE
