They arent doing a whole lot on ebay either. The rebuilt title is without question destroying my sale. I have been offered 1000, 1800, 2000, and a lot of trades I dont want and cant do much with. All those offers were sight unseen. I want to be honest about everything about the car but if someone came out and looked at the car it would be gone. This is one of the nicest looking "older" cars I have owned, and I have had many many cars. Nada classic has this car very high. I know nada doesnt sell cars and the market drives everything but nada has low price (fair) at @ 7500 and high is way up there. I had deducted 2500 off the fair price. And thats on a car that if it didnt have the rebuilt title it would be one if the nicest around.

NADA means nada, even what sold last week that looked exactly the same means nothing. That buyer is now out of the market.

Each car has its own set of pluses and minuses, location, condition, and the big one who is in the market with the money to buy it NOW.

OTOH before selling this car for less than $5k maybe you should consider finding a job, any job, and keeping it?

Ed, excellent deal. The car is completely worth this, as the beautiful last drive in a nice car is also a great farewell present!
Here is to Ed

Killer deal for you, especially since you technically need to be a member to list cars. Shows you the power of the great folks here on Rennlist!
When you get a job you owe me and Michael (danglerb, although I prefer bone dangler) some lunch, lol
Hope this deal goes through for you! My last 85 sold to a good friend and I still get paid to do all the work and maintenance on the car and drive it now and again. You get to give it to a good home AND do a sweet rode trip too!

wonderfull, There are def some good people and I have had a A few 944s a neat 914, this 928 and I would love to have another one. and a 911. Danglerb, The job would have to be a good one. I went from making a great amount to very VERY little. Just the money to keep afloat is a little high. Got rid of car payments and all things not needed. Keep the daughter happy and make sure she has every opportunity to succeed is number one and the wife is right with her. This sale will get us back to where we need to be to maintain and go forward from there. I will be in florida for maybe a job after I deliver this car. i will let you all know when He gets back with me on when He is ready for me to leave.
