Some time ago, Bill Ball had a similarly weird problem, and IIRC it turned out that he he had a single filament bulb (instead of a dual filament bulb) in the front turn signal. Everything went back to normal after the bulb issue was corrected.

I am almost certain that I checked this first thing. I guess the thing to do is go check again, but I'm pretty certain this isn't the problem.

Okay, credit goes to both Alan and Nicole, they each got it half right. It turns out that the bulb was the source of the problem. It was the correct bulb, but I suspect that the bulb was not completely in position, which resulted in the circuit being shorted between both filaments of the two filament bulb. This must have kept the bulb from burning out but while drawing enough current to blow the fuse (I'm not so wise about electrical business, but this makes sense since I pulled the bulb out and the problem went completely away). So, in short, it was the correct bulb, but put in incorrectly (or maybe the bulb itself is defective), so I'll get a new bulb just in case and swap it in, being sure to orient it correctly. Lesson learned: Don't be a moron. Check the stupid stuff first.

Instead of posting a new thread for a similar problem, the title of this one is appropriate.

Car:MY90

With this model year 928, the license plate lamps come on automatically whenever the ignition key is turned to ON or start. What happens now is that the right front and rear side marker lights and right taillight also comes on.

Yes, the light switch will turn both all lights on both sides on and off normally. This is only in relation to when the light switch is off and the key is on or start position. All lights work. None are burnt out.

Any suggestions please.
