If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll take look.

I've a call in to get the VIN to determine if it's an 86.5

Within 24 hours Landseer or one of those Florida people will be posting about their latest 928. It looks repainted.

Talked to the owner, Dave. Nice guy. Wants to be honest and meet potential buyer's expectations. That's a good approach.

Car is a <1000 VIN, so no 86.5 here. Still reads like a nice car, one that needs some work. Don't they all. Dave says he has quite a few service records, so one might be able to piece together what's needed.

My guess is this car needs at least shocks and clutch.

Is a repaint, but a good one. Shows well, he says.

He said to me, verbally, he would take $3900.

If anyone is interested, I'll look at it this weekend.

Well hopefully someone here will take advantage, sounds like a pretty fair deal for a 5 speed car.

I really wonder what the price will be.... I'll let ya know
I'll be calling in the morning.
I'm interested if you'd take a look sea for me please.
Even if I know I shouldn't be

Check the tires, brakes, and give a look under the engine for any obvious leaks to front and rear seals. I'd appreciate a look at the steering rack, and ball joints - if the two tires recently replaced are the fronts - it makes me a bit nervous about the tie rod condition - or the last alignment
I would also like to know if it will slip in 4th or 5th gear - in other words -
Given 10 stops to fuel, rest, and eat, would it hopefully make it to Florida.

Mike if you buy this car you will come within reasonable distance to me. I am extending an invite for lunch and 1 or two adult beverages. On me brother.

Thanks to Cosmo for posting this - If the inspection goes anywhere near what I hope - (like if it runs and holds oil pressure and the radiator doesn't leak) - I'll be flying up to pick the car up and drive her home. It is going to a fellow firefighter!

And Jadz928 - answer your phone and the car is headed over to you - on a trailer!
Buddy, after speaking with you into the wee hours you probably aren't awake yet But - THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU
This is what the 928 brotherhood is all about.
Kevin Michael - I think a bit of brain lubricant may just have to flow and am looking forward to meeting you!
