Question Cam Timing on Murf Stage III

Before the Murf SC I had set my cam timing using the 32V'r to "O" on the drivers side cams and "-2 degrees retard" on the passenger side.

While checking the belt tension I decided to go ahead and recheck the cam timing. On the passenger side it now is reading about -2 1/2 degrees retard.

Is there any thoughts here with the stage III kit to run the passenger side at the 2 degree retard or set it at "O"?

I hope that your engine was at full temperature when you did this Stuart.

That is how I did mine too. Engine hot and set cam timing.

If you set them both to zero when stone cold then the passenger will be a 2 deg of advance when at full operating temperature.

And while I adjusted mine with the engine at full temperature. This is NOT something I would recommend doing for most as it is easy to burn yourself!

That is how I set mine, "0" drivers side, "-2" passenger side on cold engine.

I set mine cold 0 driver and -2 passenger. It's hard to get it exact sometimes give or take a half degree.

I had also run mine +2 and +4 for a few days just to see if I could feel the difference but I couldn't, the truth is with the super charger the engine pulls like a beast anytime you put your foot into it so I put it back to 0 and -2 just for the peace of mind.
