Robert Budd did the seats for a customer who ended up selling the car and didn't take delivery, I have been just waiting till I got the cohones to buy them and put them in, yes the original seats are black leather..
Robert did the entire interior of my restored 86.5 , he is a true artist...
The 928 community is blessed to have Robert and Paul Champagne to do this stuff.

Jon B, I recall Robert (or someone) finding some new Pasha material or some thread like that was talking about that. Of course Paul is doing the same pattern in leather...not quite as op-art, much more subtle, but for those so inclined, it is not original like the material is...

Great stuff FOR SURE! When you get back in to 928s if you need a full stock interior Resto then Robert would be THE MAN to see for sure!
We are fortunate to have Paul and Rob working on our interiors!

this is a beautiful car. I'm partial to this interior, too (evidence here):

If you want Pasha in leather then Paul, if you want to redo a complete interior in stock form Robert Budd is the man.

That interior looks GREAT!!
I had a "79" 924 when I was just out of college w/ black on white pasha, Hated it then, thought it looked to 70's I recovered them in a velore. Man that was DUMB!! Love it now. Gave the car to 15 year old son and it lasted 4 months. REGRET!!
Thanks for the memories,
John

OH NOOOO! That car looked GREAT TOO! How sad! I knew a 15 year old with a 928 that went that same direction...not sure it even lasted 4 months. At least the '85 928 made enough power to get in trouble with, I can't imagine getting in trouble w/ a '79 924, they can barely get out of their own way! That said, I found PLENTY of trouble with my '80 Spitfire making 69HP!

Was it that long ago? Holy crap time flies. I was hoping to be able to get a bunch of track time with Corvette. I was hustling it around the track after you decently enough on street tires. Enough that the TC was stepping in there at the end. I really do need much more time though. I'm gonna have to work on that when I get back.
