Default Cold start valve on a 86

Can anyone tell me where to find the cold start valve on my 86? It appears it needs to be replaced...as cool mornings it won't hold and idle until I feather the throttle for about 60 seconds or so.....then all is good.
Pics would be great.....but any and all help is appreciated!

Is it a Euro? If so it's on the very front of the upper plennum under the cross brace. If US, I didn't think they had one.

IIRC the CSV is under the intake on the right side , removal of the aircleaner is necessary to find it

On both Euro and US 928s there is NO CSV this is all controlled by pulsewidths to the injectors and the brain knowing the temp of the engine.

There IS on the 84-86 euro an AAV, and on the 85/86 cars there is a ISV. They both can be replaced without pulling the manifold but the US cars ae harder.

As well first follow the WSM procedure for adjusting the idle and base CO pot as this could be part of the problem.

Thanks for the responses...I should have been clearer on model....It is a US model 5spd, I was told by the previous owner that it was the cold start valve and he had supplied the part from Penguin for me to install. Hmmmmm? Guess it's not going to be an easy fix....and now I have to find out what is causing this cold start up problem...his mechanic is a PCA member too who told him he needed it.
Back to the drawing board....Thanks again!

Set the idle first via the WSM. and verify that your ISV is working.

When the engine is warmed up, connect a wire between C and B at the test port at the front of the engine, and see what the idle speed is. It should be ~680 rpm.

The idle speed screw is at the front of the throttle body. You'll need a 7mm socket on an extension to adjust.
