Hi All,

I'm in desperate need of a new windshield for my '85. I've found one in Portland OR, but the guy will not ship it under any circumstances. If someone would be willing to pick it up from this guy, pack it up, and ship it to me, I would pay for all costs incurred, including packing supplies, shipping, travel, time, & convenience if someone would be willing to help me out.

I realize it's a lot to ask, but it would be greatly appreciated, and I would owe you a favor.

Having a busted windshield sucks.

I just happen to have the factory packing for a windshield that I might be willing to ship for a slight charge, just as soon as they put mine in.

I have two windshields, one with antenna. When I get off my *** and try to sell them I was going to go to Safelite and try to purchase one of there shipping crates.

Sounds like a great idea, Safelite is all over.

You let me know, I can ship it to you, but finding a Safelite closer is a better option IMHO.

Greg, what carrier shipped your windshield to you? I wouldn't think UPS or FedEx would ship a windshield.

Fed Ex, and lets just say I made sure the driver did not leave until we knew it was not broke.

Recently, there have been new made windshields w/antenna & green tint band at top selling on eBay for under $400 + shipping....
