Default Kermit FS on Ebay again?

I hate to think what the reserve is on this thing. Chuck, you NEED to keep this car. Either that, or foster it to James.

Chuck's not going to let that go to just anyone. Nor would I.

HAHA! That would go over well. Hey David, I meant to ask you, do you guys still do your morning get-togethers in Raleigh? I've been meaning to come out.

BE AFRAID...be VERY afraid....track 928's will tax your budget like nothing you've ever seen...& its generally not a fun conversation with the boss either

However for the true masochists like myself....the most cost effective way to do it is buy one already built by someone else...or almost built.... Then proceed to dump 2x what you paid for the car in "upgrades" with no end in sight....

My wife has a stall for her car now in the new house. If I kicked her out for a "new" 928 I think she would be a bit upset. If it was in pieces and not running I think I might be sleeping with the dogs. She's pretty good with my car stuff though.

Ohhhhhh ... what timing.

I've got a Chevy crate engine and have been just dying to build a 928 hybrid...

Edit: crap, just noticed the rust on the brake rotors. Deal's off.

Reserve is within reason....... at least in my book! I'm at a point in my life where if I'm going to have a car, I'm going to drive it and this one definitely shouldn't be driven.

As much as I'd like to be able to do that, realistically I probably won't. Whomever comes up with the cash gets it, I seriously hope it is someone who'll put it in a collection somewhere...... James?

The only other place it's been listed for sale is in Panorama in conjunction with the PCA website. I dropped the price to $49,995 in both places.

If there were ONE person in this world I would like to have this car it would be YOU my brother! Think about it......

Surface rust and it's gone..... Think of it as a value add for a future owner who'd want to return it to stock...

I have. In typical German fashion (I know b/c I am one.....) they want to buy low and sell high. Somebody on another forum suggested I offer to trade it for a new car. Hell, they make $25k on every Cayenne there's probably some room on their side?

Seriously guys, I am going to advertise the car this time until it sells. My wife and I have a 1600 square foot addition going on our house as week speak and I'd like to do some stuff to the GTS. We're really car heavy right now so to facilitate the previously mentioned I've also listed our other cars for sale (NOT the GTS though, I learned my lesson on that one already) on eBay too. I'm going to sell Kermit and one of the other two. Probably going to end up taking less for Kermit than I think it's really worth. It's just time to move on......
