Ricer, I understand your trying to help out with all the options. But please, don't judge my knowledge or abilities by the number of times I decide to speak up on a forum. It just means I don't have as much time in front of a computer as some others do. I have been building $100k street rods for almost 15 years now.

If it was your car, and you're the 'builder' -then it is probably your shop as well... so, why the rush? Place the order with Porsche AG and wait for them, like we all would.
You would get better answers if you provide all the details to the 'question'...
But as already noted by others: buying and selling is a reserved privilege of members... and upper management really pays attention to this, and reprimands accordingly.

If your car is not even at the body shop yet, just order them from Porsche, they will be here by the time they are needed.
It took 14 months to get mine on, Sterlings car was in almost a year.
There is a huge amount of work to do this, and to do it on a OB, my guess is you are going to be the first one down that trail.
The fenders will run you at least 2 grand by the time you get your hands on them, each...
My advise is take the side markers out and the rub strips out and leave good enough alone.
By the time you get done doing this you are going to be close to GT money if you put GTS fenders on it and have to pay for the work.

Man, a job like that should take 5 weeks tops. I take em' one at a time so no one waits a year.He needs to find someplace else to take his car that is more customer oriented rather than a place that scatters jobs, it will be more expensive, but it will be expedient and it will be a better job every time.
It still cost me a small fortune.

Speaking from experience with fiberglass fenders on a 928 ( not GTS style) they hold up if you seal them correctly, inside and out. If you don't seal them properly, moisture will migrate through the fiberglass from the back side and end up under your paint and cause a bubble. If they're cured properly and sealed on both sides they should be cool.

If you put OE GTS quarters on then you have to use the rear bumper cover as well since the lower edge of the quarters is really the rear cover. Installing the S4 rear cover on an OB is where the metal skills are REALLY needed. Trust me, I've done it! Not that it can't be done tho.
