dr bob is correct regarding the level of effort and expertise. Not only did I decide to graft on the GTS hips onto my 91 S4 but I also opted for the sunroof delete which means more cutting, fitting and prep. Fortunately I've got a real Porsche pro doing the body work. He stated the same things dr bob has and so far it has turned out that way.
Also must remember to order a GTS fuel filler door assembly as it is unique to the GTS. Took two weeks for the quarter panels to arrive and has been over three waiting on the sunroof delete panel. So if time is not your friend, go for Blown 87's.

They have some in Germany, hence the long wait to get them. Though I am not especially tall, I just don't fit in the car the way I want to without bumping my head. That sunroof is a marketing joke anyway so off with it. Price is not too bad either $450-$525-ish. But you really need someone that is really good at panel fitment.

I was so mad back in the middle 80's when I was ready to trade in my 81 928 and all the dealers I talked to refused to get me a sun roof delete 928.

If your car is not even at the body shop yet, just order them from Porsche, they will be here by the time they are needed.
It took 14 months to get mine on, Sterlings car was in almost a year.
There is a huge amount of work to do this, and to do it on a OB, my guess is you are going to be the first one down that trail.
The fenders will run you at least 2 grand by the time you get your hands on them, each...
My advise is take the side markers out and the rub strips out and leave good enough alone.
By the time you get done doing this you are going to be close to GT money if you put GTS fenders on it and have to pay for the work.
