If you want a temporary solution for a cover, Wet Okole makes a wet-suit type cover that protects the seat underneath and comes in complementary colors to most interiors... I think the material is neoprene. Again, just temporary... as a complete matching interior would probably be your ultimate goal.

The seat backs don't match up either. The 83 has gears on the side that adjust the recline and have different bolt patterns but I did take the padding off of the 85 and put it on the 83 seat frame and it fits so far. Haven't torn down the seat bottoms yet.
I'll be saving my nickels to get Paul to do a custom yellow/black theme once I get the seats situated. |

Got mine from Jegs. I don't see them listed know but they get them now and again. Summit has the simulated leather ones right now. I removed the stock rails and attached them to the seat bottoms with out the stock spacers. Made the seats sit about an inch lower, plus the seat itself is about 2 inches lower, which is great for us tall folk. I easily gained 2-3 inches of headroom and with no sunroof, I can ride comfortably at 6'1" with a helmet on. Only draw back was with out the spacers, it's tighter underneath and bolting them in with my fat gorrilla fingers was tough. I think they match the interior well. Nice wide bolsters. |
