New Shark In Kansas, No Longer Looking.

Seriously, I would recommend attending SITM or any other large gathering to anyone who has the slightest inkling of buying a 928. The more I think about, it should be mandatory. Seeing that many different cars and talking to the owners, you just can't get that from a forum. Yes I was on overload by the time I left SITM but I felt like I had much more info to draw from. Or maybe it was just the sunburn.

Jim: Pearl was one of my favorite cars at SITM.

You have a real special one there. I'm sure you will take great care of it.
You could go either way with it. Return to stock, or modified SC. Are you going to hold your cards close until you have figured out what you've gotten yourself into? By that I mean 928's in general.

Congrats Brent. I had interest in Cameron's car but felt the emissions challenges where I would be keeping the car outweighed the great value and uniqueness of the car. I look forward to updates as you make the car your own and though not all like the retro color to sample white interior, I for one think it is really great and good looking. Enjoy!

Brent,
Congratulations, and I'm so glad you found the right car at the right time. It certainly is beautiful.
Glad the ride home was as great as you expected it to be. See you at OCIC - with the car and Anne!!
Cheers,
Gary Knox
PS: responding to the color of the interior, I think that color is called Silver Grey, the same as my seats (at least that's what I call it!!! - ha).

Brent, I had a feeling you would buy it, wonder why It's too bad you didn't have time to stop by Atlanta so we could do a little "comparison" I know you are going to love that car.
