Stephen, the troubles with OT are;

Its closed to users, members only.
It might as well be the ceramics forum, nobody I know.
Ceramics forum has topics more of interest than OT.

I don't think people necessarily "plan" to post OT subjects here in the technical forum, but the atmosphere is loose, and sometimes a post just takes an OT turn as you type. Maybe submit should have a 60 second delay?

OTOH who clicked on this thread expecting tech?

We are here because of our love of the 928 and the other people who love them.

I mean really, are you going to hang out here just to find out where a ground point is if that is all you can talk about?

People are people, personal issues are going to happen when people are in the mix.
Some folks personality's make is a certainty that drama is going to be part of that.
+928. The best part of 928 get togethers are the people you get to talk to and hang out with. The cars are what bring us together but it's the friendships that keep us together. I don't want to turn this place into a serious, dry forum. How many times can you discuss what wheels someone should buy or which oil is better for the 928? There comes a point in everyones Rennlist tenure that almost every thread is a thread you have seen (and answered) a dozen or more times before. Without the ability to get a little off topic here and there this place would lose its luster for most after awhile.

Finally! A tech topic in which I have some expertise!!!

***** should be manually rotated at least 3-4 times per week. Otherwise they are susceptible to dry rot and shrinkage.

That's what I tell my wife! I have to manually rotated her ***** often so I will never be susceptible to premature dry rot and shrinkage!

Leather conditioner helps with the dry rot.
Apply and message into the skin.

This was a fun topic; not too technical so I could hang in there with the *****.

I wish I could go to Hell and OCIC both, but one is a Hell of a lot closer than the other.
