The earlier (pre '91?) S4 cars do not have a rear section on the right rear wheelhouse liner. There have been at least a couple thread that described fitting other liners into those cars. It would seem that a little creative work with the snips on a boneyard liner from a (pick your make/model/year) would get you pretty close. Or get some sheet plastic stock and cut and form your own, mirroring the rear section on the left side. There's the fuel filler plumbing to work around but that shouldn't be that big a challenge.

Get a used one if you can, I did new pieces and it is tough to get it together right and brad the pins in.

Gas flap? I am having the GTS hips put on my 91 S4 as we type. What is the gas flap and what needs to be done to get it mounted? Is this the fuel filler door or that flap of fabric inside of it?

Curious in case I forgot to order something for the body shop.

Thanks

Fuel filler door was what I was talking about.

We want pics of the body work.
I ordered all of it, the door, spring, link and pins along with the GTS mirrors, my body shop guy brought them back to me and said, he ya go, I spent all day trying to figure that damn door out, it is all yours now, then left.

The last GTS right quarter out of Germany just shipped to a TX GTS owner. No more in stock as of now.

I wonder if they will make another run of them, and what the new price will be.

They will probably get some more - when is the question.
I check the system most days so will shout when more are available.

What do folks do when they have collision damage and there are no parts in Germany?

The rear quarters are not going to fare well trying to take them off a donor car, if you can find one.

It was a close call for the one needed in TX. When I only see one in stock in Germany its a 50/50 chance it actually exists at all. In this case it did and a release was issued.
There will be more have faith.
