Anyone be interested in using a program like ventrillo, to speak live to one another? I ask because; I see dozens of people logged on to the 928 forum and not a single person in the chat room. This might be a great opprotunity to share repair information and opinions.
I have a friend who runs a server in his house for his personal use. We also run Ventrilo on it for gaming. We're the only ones that use it. Maybe we could set up a channel for the " 928 folks "? All you need is a mic/speakers/headset.
Anyone????????

Skype works well as is probably the best known VOIP/ online collaboration technology.
The best technical and most cool is Adobe System's "ConnectNow". It is free on their website and allows multiple participants. What I really like about it is that you can upload and share very large files (100mb) as well as convert to pdf on the fly. Very cool stuff

Vent is rhoxxorz. We can probably use my old WoW guild's vent server if there aren't too many of us.
Edit: Actually, vent servers are pretty cheap, we could all probably chip in a dollar a year and get one that would hold 50-100 people at a time.
