Default Well a new 928 purchase!

Well, I made it through the drug years...without becoming an ADDICT....but I just added another 928 to my garage.....Yes 928's are like crack to me I've found out....My 83 project has kept me busy since last summer...always one thing after another...but thats what I get for what little I paid...but the learning experience has be great...most of the time! But with the summer already here....I buckled and grabbed a great clean 86 S.......Spent yesterday.....bringing her home and then installing a new Momo wheel and the typical once over everything....If I was doing this again I should have waited and spent more on a better 83....but if I had I wouldn't have learned what I know now, and not have met all the great people here that extended a hand with knowledge and parts....Fabio thanks again.....Roger@928SRUS and all the others that have kept the 83 going forward.....This little beauty is solid with a great history of the work done to it...unlike the 83...lol. Excuse the long story....but I'm happy I'll be able to enjoy the Vermont roads this summer with the 86......Which I was unable to do much with the 83.....Hope to see some of you out there on the roads in my travels.......Next weekend I'm heading to Boston for the shake down.....Sorry on the graininess of the photo's...only had a cheap camera

Thanks Stephen,
She was practically in my backyard here in Vermont....I was coming back from Boston after looking at a 86 928S there last week....and when I pulled into town here in VT, it went by me in the other direction....the next morning I saw it again parked at a tennis ctr. Saw it had a for sale sign on paper in the side window. Called the owner, met, he was honest and open and the car ran like a raped ape!...So made the deal....

The pics look fine, but the least you could have done was taken the floor mat out and knocked the gravel off of it before taking the pic! LOL! Car looks great! Enjoy it in good health!

Being out of work (just after my drive last Nov actually) I won't be doing another WCD event for awhile unfortunately. No jobs on the horizon either, so trying to play things a little tighter than I prefer... They have some AWESOME cars now too! I would LOVE to drive that Alpha and I STILL want to get some seat time in their 599!

I'm interested in which cars they will have for the ride here in Vermont, They were saying that the Audi was to have been here last year but no such luck...Sorry to hear about the job....I feel pretty safe here, but as I've learned...you never really know...so always keep your options open. Hope you land what you are looking for soon......so you can continue your quest for all the models

Congrats on the 86 5spd!

If the weather holds up for this weekend, Larz Anderson is hosting German car day (Boston) and a bunch of us will be going up on Sunday to represent the 928's. Maybe an opportunity to show off the new beauty.
