Default Digital clock undigaltaling

Ok,
My clock is slowly fading into oblivion. I have looked on the big 2 WO sucsess. Anyone out there know where to get an OEM clock or a place to repair them?

I have plenty of the later style analog clocks for $368.

This has been an issue for me as well. I wish there was another alternative for the clock. I have enough other repairs I want to do that rank higher in importance that I can not justify spending almost $400 for a clock.

One day when my "list" is shorter and the major mechanicals are caught up and I have moved on to cosmetic issues, then maybe I'll fork out the cash for the clock.

In the mean time I'll keep hopefully clicking on these threads looking for a cheaper alternative.

I decided to cover my clock up with this badge I got on ebay. I can take some pics tomorrow with it installed. But it fits just about perfect over the clock.

Good idea Matt. Most modern headunits have a clock...as if the concept of time is important in a 928 anyways

Jager Engineering makes analog clocks for the 928. Check with Nicole www.hookedoncars.com to see if they still do and for pricing.

I bought an Odyssey I Series fluorescent display clock from Dakota Digital for $90, took it out of the case, and mounted it in place of the stock LCD. Easy to see even in bright sun, and hasn't faded in 3 years.

Being able to see the time is very important in a 928. I can't count how many times I have told my wife "I'll be back in an hour" only to look at the clock and realize an hour has come and gone! One hour in a 928 and its just getting warmed up.

I have to agree, the analog looks much nicer and IMHO it blends into the 928's interior nicely.

I agree bigger fish to fry before the clock but.... being some what of a perfectionist it drives me crazy to look at such a simple fix and not able to find the part W/O having to rob a bank.
Dave where can you buy the 30 dollar model

I have seen them sell on eBay for $30-ish.

When the digital clock on my '87 S4 needed replacing, I posted a want ad on here and got one for $25 shipped.
