I am just baffled... How in the hell does someone think that this could ever be a resonable idea?

That would be something I would buy. The body has no side mouldings and paint (VERY RARE colour) looks in great, straight shape. A really nice example once you instal a later engine and transmission and interior. Anyone need a project for them and their son/daughter? This is it.

Are you talking about the yellow car with the dash taken apart? Is it the color?

In the description the seller seems honest and has a sense of humor, it's no reserve so he also has no illusions to what it's worth. It'll be a decent project for someone.

What color is it? Talbot Yellow? (color code 106)

never mind - Was probably Talbot Yellow originally, as the door jamb stickers are still there, seller says its had a repaint.

I looks as though he sold every interior electronic part worth any money and is now parting with the car.

At the bottom he says the yellow is the original color, but it was repainted to a color that was 'close' and they matched the door jambs with it.

I don't even understand how cars get to the point of being that bad... then again I don't understand why people at 300lbs didn't think they should stop eating so much and all the sudden they are 600lbs...

it's a lot easier to take a 928 apart than put it back together... I've purchased a couple that have looked like this. Owner had good intentions but slightly less skill than requiried. Not that I can talk... it's not like my project is running at the moment.

all my cars came as rescues like this one some live on others just donate parts sometimes you get lucky and most of the parts are there. Out of the six I own 3 are on the road 2 are coming back slowly and one it smashed to badly to ever see the road again. I think it would be an awsome buy for someone close

Hey Firemed,

Am down in St. Petersburg for a couple days, let me know if you pick it up, I can come over and take notes while you work your reassembly magic.
