You betcha - but it won't be for a good, long time!
Made it to Danville IL tonite. The car runs like an absolute champ. The sound is intoxicating too. It has no cats and a high end, aftermarket exhaust. It sounds like a GT Cup car.
I was a bit worried after talking to Jim, who looked at it for me. But I love it! Also, the power from this little 4.5 liter is quite impressive. I've gotten used to the gears too, and the shifting is fine.
Drove nearly 16 hours today, and like last summer's trip from Pitt to Montana in the 86.5, no fatigue, these cars are amazing drivers.
The first aprt of my route was from Herndon VA to Athens Ohio along Route 50 - the portion of that road thru WV/MD is incredible - it reminded me a great deal like the BRP run we did last year at SITM. I really got a chance to put the Blumaxx thru the paces on some very tight and hard twisties. I recommend that drive highly (traffic was very light too, so we flew thru it - what a blast).

Well folks, I made it! Not without some adventure though (see this tale of woe: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...th-dakota.html)

All in all, a great, memorable trip. This is the second time I've driven a 928 across the country (plus to SITM and other roadtrips). These cars are sim ply amazing drivers. Well, all tucked in now, and ready for detailing:

Glad you made it home

Car looks in good shape and the view through the windows look very familiar.
