Default 16" Wheels For Sale

I have the following:

4 (four) 8x16 Club Sport copies - need refinishing - $250 each
2 (two) 9x16 Club Sport - fair condition - $250 each
2 (two) 8x16 D90 - very good condition - $150 each
2 (two) 9x16 D90 - very good condition - Sold
4 (four) 8x16 D90 - need refinishing - $100 each

I am willing to sell a "set" of 8's and 9's for $900 plus shipping. The finish is "track quality".
The 8's are not the rare ET60's that came on the 928, they are ET 52.3 and were machined from flat dish wheels. They were misrepresented to me when I purchased them from an east coast Rennlister a couple of years ago.

All plus shipping. PM for pictures.

I am looking for GTS brake calipers and 8x17 or 8x18 wheels for track use so trades are a possibility. Thanks.

I don't need any wheels, but have a slightly used set of GTS calipers, rotors and pads FS. LINK

Good luck with the sale... because you can then buy my brakes.

Where the heck did you ever get 8" club sports??? Are they et60, or et52?

They are 52.3 and yes they were machined from flat dish wheels. I was assured that they were "real" 928 Club Sports, but I wasn't aware of the ET60 wheels. I purchased these from a 'lister about a year ago. They were very well done and look identical to the real CS wheels except they are a bit closer to the fender lip. On the front of my 944, they were perfect track wheels. I'm going to 17" wheels or I would keep them.

Hey Gene, there are factory 52mm offset 8" club sports. I believe they came on the back of some 944 variant. The factory 60mm offset CS rims from the 928 actually start at 52 and the inner face is machined 8mm to get to 60mm... I had some pics on here way back in the day..might still be able to find them via search...

After they machined down to 60 mm offset, they then filled the little offset stamp and then re-stamp with '60':

They also modified the part # on the front rim:

If that's the case, then a 928er would do best to buy all 4 of the 9" et60 size, not use any of the 8" et52.3mm.

Running a 9" CS rim with a 245 tire is really close to the fender lip on most 928's...but the stock CS 8" with 225 tires and the cringed lips on the GT is a perfect fit. A 52mm 8" CS rim just pushed it out a bit...
