I'm pretty sure I've seen them for more than that.

Not my cup of tea. The motor looks tired! I am looking to buy one and have joined the site spending hrs reading up on stuff and trying to figure out what model to go for. I like them all! This isn't what I had in mind.

I like the shipping where he notes "Fright is not included" now thats an honest description.

Also like the "hood scope" sounds very U-boaty or is that bowtie..

Actually, if it's 400 hp I would expect it to have zero lag since it's a pretty small turbo. Single or double turbos makes no difference on lag really. You can get the same performance from either. Twins are just easier to package usually.

Not true at all. Displacement and cylinder count make no difference. You can size a turbo to do just fine on any engine. The number of combinations for compressor and turbine housings are virtually limitless.

They better be talking about 400 RWHP. That would sound plausible. A turbocharged LT1 with a mid-sized single turbo and 5 or so psi would output that kind of power.

What scares me is a stock LT1. I have been playing w/ Thunderbird SC for the last 3 years and I personally don't like a turbo on a stock LT1. If I was going to go through all that trouble building this conversion I would have built a shortblock that was forged! Chevy forged parts are cheap, especially compared to a Porsche. I almost fell of my seat when I was looking at forged parts and stroker parts!

This is going to be fun but it is going to be a long project!
