Default 951/ 944 Turbo calipers same as S-4??

I thought so. I bought a set and they are not the same. The rears seem to be the same but the fronts are not. The fronts look just like the rears to me. They also bolt on from the side instead of from the top.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No......typically 944 owners like to upgrade to S4 front brakes, just like how S4 owners upgrade to GTS etc

I think only the 951/968 with M030 option have the same front brakes as the S4.

I'm not sure what year this applies to but some of the 944's look identical to S4 rears but have different piston sizes.

I'm 90% sure that the rears on a NON-MO30 951 are the same as the 928 S4. Even the pad and brake rotor part numbers are the same in PET and at various parts vendors like Paragon Products and Pelican Parts.

All 250 hp (247 hp in SAE net) 951 have S4 brakes. 220hp (217 hp in SAE net) have smaller 928 S style brakes which are not exact same as 928 S.

Thanks alot folks. I guess I was an uneducated buyer.

So are the fronts and rears the same on the 951 that doesn't have the S-4 style fronts? because these look to be the same at a glance. i haven't measured piston diameter or anything yet but they seem to be physically the same.
