Once it starts to leak, you have no choice but to fix....even if you switch back.
If I didn't use synt. in the first place I would not HAVE to fix (the point of my previous post)
I don't see synt. oil as being suprerior in my application.
A mater of fact, on synt I had scary lower pressure in idle and louder cam noise.
I guess I'll have to rebuilt the engine to adapte to that superior oil.
And yes I know, with time no mater what oil is used, those Orings will dry up.
So, if you have NO leaks now and use dinoviscus, STICK WITH IT. ymmv

Let me throw some fluid on this fire
Whatever oil you choose make sure that it has high zinc (ZDDP) content. Mobil 1 15w-50 in the red-labeled bottle or Kibort Oil or whatever, as long as it has high ZDDP. Most new oils don't have high zinc.
15/20wt-50 in my fleet. Right now, Kibort Oil (Amsol Synth 20w-50) in the '91-SC, Mobil 1 15w-50 in the GTS, and Castrol 20-50 DinoJuice in the '89 GT. I have run 5w-50. I'd never run anything less than ?w-40.
