Default How to install bumper cover tow hook covers?

Seriously is their a trick to installing these suckers?
They push in but I'm pushing so hard the bumper cover is folding in-wards. I don't know how one could pull one out to gain access to the tow hole, then reinstall it.
Any ideas?

usually they chip when removed. Just push it in and have a couple of extras, or just reuse as slightly damaged.

dip the part in some very hot water then try.
Its usually best if you leave it off, its a PITA to remove when its cold and raining and your fishing around for that tow hook

This is in reference to the cover over the center of the rear plate

now what covers are you talking about the one for the rear center of the PU just above the License plate or the covers on either side below the bumper, those are for setting the bumper anchor bolts either way dip in hot water
