Speedo gone insane

Speedo gone insane
Sharkers, the other day my driving light relay stuck on. Like in when the lights are still on after you switch them off. This happens on a rare occasion, and normaly I can get them to switch off by fiddling the ignition and light switch a copuple of times. Well, I got the lights off this time too.
But while the lights were on, all the instruments went totally bananas.
After the lights got turned off, the instruments went back to normal, except the speedometer. It is still crazy, and indicates around 160km/h most of the time, even when I'm not driving.
Anyone heard of something like this?
Or du I just get a new (used) speedometer?
Anyone got one to spare (metric)?
mm

I would first check the bottom of the blower box for water dripping marks, from your post it sounds like you have moisture problem invading the CE panel.
Pull every relay and check the pins for corrosion, any relay thats corroded should be opened, also pull all of the fuses and check them as well. get a fuse relay chart here www.928gt.com
If there are water tel tales then the blower box should be resealed B4 the car get wet. Also check the Hot post connection/ clean them as well as the 14 pin connector and fit a hot post cover if there isnt one on the car
