AFAIK, when Audi mechs do a belt change (around 60K miles), they usually only change the pulley.

I've seen some belt changes at 60-70K at my friend's shop, and the parts looked and felt as new.

So what is the difference.....the airpump version just has an extra mounting location for additional strength? Or is it needed?

Which Audi parts are needed? Are they off a 2.7/2.8L V6?
