Default Porsche 928 a hydrofoil for the road?

Im still not quite sure why they compare it to a hydrofoil, but theres shark content so I figured Id post it

Wow, that car sits nicely. I like the rear spoiler delete.

It's funny so many people who've never driven a 928 think it's such a badly handling car. It's also funny that they think it's so heavy, considering most of today's cars are at least as heavy, if not much more.

Looks like quarter window delete as well and some seriously odd exhaust exits?

edit: Maybe the quarter window area is just too blown out making everything there indistinct.

The driver may not need a gym membership, but the author does; a real girly-man. My '89GT is easy to manuver at slow around-town speeds as well as on the open road up into the triple digits.

I do like the clean look of the pictured 928.

And my 928 seems to squat above 80 mph and plant itself to the road, rather than rise up as on a hydrofoil. And, yes, it also seems nimble enough at slow speeds, though not as nimble as my 914/6.

Good find Algie. I noticed that, coincidentally, there was a Hydrofoil ad on that page, to the left of the photo, also.
