I need to remove the oxygen sensor in order to remove the exhauset system to access the rear pinch bolt.
I've pulled the passenger side heat shield, and the grommet at the tunnel, leading to the central panel. I can see the wrapped wires coming into the cental panel area, but can't find where to disconnect it.
Or do I just cut the wires, and buy a new oxygen sensor?
Thanks

Found it.
It was routed under a big thick loom of wires beneath the CE panel. Removed the two screws holding the CE panel in place and was able to move the oxygen sensor wires out into the open so I could disconnect.
I disconnected the battery before touching the CE panel

The circular, rubber bodied 3 pin O2 sensor connector is usually on the floor of the car, directly infront of the fuse/relay panel.
Isn't there enough slack in the lead under the car for you can disconnect the exhaust just at the 3 bolt flanges and then lower the exhaust enough to remove the two rear most bellhousing bolts ?

John, yes there was plenty of wire so that I could lower the front exhaust and remove the bellhousing. However, to remove the exhuast entirely so I could access the rear pinch bolt, I needed to remove the entire exhaust.
Now that the exhaust is out, I see the mounting clamps for the RMB are loose and there are cracks in the air injection mounting flanges, adjacent to the cats.
