Found mine had been weeping the other day...
A few drops had rolled off the front bumper just in front of her eyes,

Whispered a few words of comfort, gently removed the foreign object from her tear duct (check valve)and she rewarded me with a great drive.

I also play her fine music and frequently serenade her when driving solo.

you guys know I love my shark, and I would never do anything to hurt her, right?
I can talk to you guys though, you won't say anything to her.
the thing is, sometimes I think she's just in it for the money. I mean, when its good, its real good, y'know what I mean?
I just slip inside her, and it's hot, I mean awesome.
but sometimes, she's all, "how come you don't me buy anything anymore. i'm not going out with you until you spend some real money on me."
and you me, i'm f'n crazy about this little thing, with her thick german accent and the sweetest a$$.
so I buy her things. I spend hours in the craziest positions trying to please her.
sometimes I think she doesn't care about me at all and its all one sided.
then I remember how good she makes me feel. god i'm such a douche, I could never please a car like her. god she's hot.

It's okay to enjoy your car and all being enthusiasts, but don't get too carried away like these guys. The documentary on mechaphiles aired right after Top Gear this evening. Just too weird for me, I had to change channels.

That being said, I've always thought it was the repair shops that knew how much was in my bank account.

Oh yeah, I talk to my car and it talks back, but it's the language of driving; the steering, gear selection, throttle, clutch, and brake; the sounds and feeling of acceleration, braking, weight transfer and traction or limits of, turning, and yes even the bumps in the road; it's all about communication. Good communication and the car is a joy to drive. And when something sounds or feels different, it's time to look for why 'cause something is about to cost money.
