People keep buying the CDs for two reasons:
- The CDs contain basically ALL of the official tech info available on the 928 - much more than just the manuals.
- Jim spent a great deal of time, effort and money to gather every scrap of 928 info that he could buy or borrow, paid to have it professionally scanned, then supplies the CDs. Some people still believe in supporting folks who try to help us...

PET CDs
I purchased the Morehouse CDs a few years back. I now have only Vista based computers and when I try to install PET, says not compatible with Vista.
Is there a compatible version (newer than 2004) available for Vista without the hardlock key? Does Jim M have a newer, compatible version?

Sunset Porsche in Beaverton, Oregon had a PET online; however, they have removed it from their website. The parts people say it has been intentionally removed and they have no idea when it will be reinstalled.
I also checked the ones below and both respond with "Object not found".

I agree with every thing you have said, there is so much more than just the PET and the WSM.
I think if Jim sells a couple hundred more he may break even for all the work that went into his cd set.
You can just copy it to a directory you make and open it from there and it works fine in Vista.
Nothing else needed except Adobe and Media Player.

Jim Morehouse's CD is the best ROI you can get for your 928 after a Rennlist membership.

P.S. I think Porsche dealerships sell the PET in CD form. They used to, anyway.
Part No: 00004340005, as of 2004.
