I expericenced a drastic improvement in ride quality after replacing the original booge schocks with new bilstiens the originals only had 60k miles on them but where 21 years old and completly worn out giving no damping at all. Soild steering rack mounts also made a significant improvement to the to the precision of the handling. A properly set up suspension in a 928 is a pleasure to drive.

This next winter, I will be replacing the shocks and springs as well as putting on DR's sway bars as well. This should help as well. I am thinking about replacing the rack and bushing since the steering is far from precise!

Definitely worth it. Do a search on how to check the steering rack for excessive play, this will help determine if you need a new one.
