Do you think that these would be things we could print using the new 3D printers??
I have a full set of spare unbroken ones that I could measure & draw up if that would be useful?

It entirely depends on the properties of the material - you need rigidity with a certain amount of flex and stability over time (and under heat). May be hard to predict the behaviour over time.
However it probably would also be possible to print parts that might interface to a strip of spring steel (say ~4mm wide) via screw attachments - that would be a nice solution.
